READY THE TROOPS
BMW'S M LINE OF PERFORMANCE CARS ARE SET TO GET 26 NEW MODELS BY 2020
In total, BMW M is plotting to bring 26 new models to the fold by 2020, with 11 being full-fat M cars and the rest falling under the M-Performance category, all with the goal of grabbing back market share from rivals Audi Sport and Mercedes-AMG.
The offensive will reportedly be led by the next-generation G20 M3 and M4, scheduled for a September 2019 debut in Frankfurt.
Following the M3 and M4's lead will be the X3 M and X4 M, a new Z4 M, and coupe and droptop versions of the M8. M-Performance versions of the X2, X7 and many others are expected to join the fray.
