Regal or repulsive Rolls? - Rolls-Royce has unveiled a new coachbuilt car, based on its Phantom coupe, which is called the 'Sweptail'. The company describes the car as "the automotive equivalent of Haute Couture." - The new luxury two-door coupe adopts the styling of myriad swept-tail coachbuilt Rolls-Royces from the '20s and '30s. - The bespoke project, which is claimed to have cost around £10 million, started in 2013. - A lot has changed, externally; the grille, for example, is milled from a billet of aluminium and polished to a mirror finish. - The tail has been stretched and styled to echo the look of racing yachts. - Giles Taylor, director of design at Rolls-Royce, said: "It is a Rolls-Royce designed and hand-tailored to fit a specific customer." - Interior highlights include a centre console that, at the touch of a button, automatically presents a bottle of champagne and two crystal flutes. - The Sweptail even features bespoke attache cases that deploy from behind the opening of the door, allowing the owner to grab their case and go. - The company's attention to detail, and use of high-quality materials, is clear throughout – milled aluminium, upmarket veneers and thick leather feature throughout. - Taylor added: "He came with an idea, shared in the creative process where we advised him on his cloth, and then we tailored that cloth to him." - What do you think of the way it looks, though? Take a look at a few more pictures below, and have your say in the comments... This is the new £10m coachbuilt Rolls-Royce 'Sweptail' – and its looks are sure to prove divisive...

a one off 10M pounds roller with a very common mass produced wheel design 😂😂😂
The look is great but I would rather have a Wraith. I also believe the cost is way to much for what was done. While the interior is gorgeous, that rear shelf is useless. Now we need a video from Drive Tribe where they hoon this thing around a track.
It was designed to be a land-yacht. It succeeds (in good and bad ways).
I overspent again...
Side on, or viewed from the a*se end it's quite striking But OH that face! It looks like an office block on wheels
