Remember when the Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid and GT3 R Hybrid 2.0 blew up the internet??
I've talked to plenty of people and 9/10 have never even heard of them. I've always had a liking for them just because they're so unique and unusual. But why, why doesn't anyone really remember them? Well, they were only in a handful of races and won only once (from what I can remember), then suddenly, they just disappeared off the face of the Earth. They still exist though. Surprisingly not even burnt down or parted out. Honestly, Porsche should bring them back. What's everyone's thoughts on that?

I led the engineering team at Williams that supplied the Flywheel Energy Storage System. It’s the first hybrid Porsche (except the vintage Lohner!) and sits proudly in the Porsche Museum!
That's interesting to know! I'll have to make a trip down to the museum one day to see this beauty IRL.
