Groupe Renault has announced the arrival on the market of a special edition of its electric city car, the Zoé. Named Zoe City, this car will aim to "make even more accessible electric mobility in the city", as indicated in the release of the brand. And to make it more accessible, Renault will lower its rate to 99 euros per month in long-term rentals.
The Renault Zoe City is equipped with the R90 engine, 92 horsepower, and put thanks to the electric on agility and good tone at startup, essential qualities in urban areas. As Renault reminds us, the city is the favorite playground of the Zoe. The autonomy of the car is still announced at 300 kilometers, which represents two charges per month for a motorist making 7'500 km / year, according to the manufacturer.
This City version is based on the Life version, available in two colors (Glacier White and Titanium Gray) and is adorned for the occasion with a chrome ring on the grille. Renault explains that this new series comes with a type 2 charging cable, which allows to charge the Zoé on the public charging network or carsharing terminals.
Note however that the price of the Renault Zoe City does not include the rental of batteries, which can be included in a full purchase of the vehicle. In the case of a long-term rental, it will therefore pay the rental price of batteries, which is 39 euros per month for a mileage of 7,500 km / year, which brings the Zoe to a price in LLD of 138 euros per month.

Too bad Zoe range in the real world has never been anywhere near what Renault claims, probably won't be for this one either.
