This blue rented Audi R8 V10 + split in half after hitting 13 parked cars on a street in the Paris suburb of Nanterre this Sunday.

Thankfully no one was hurt in this horrific accident except for the cars which have been severely damaged and the R8 presumably written off. It has been said that the R8 was hired alongside a 911 on that day.

You can see from these videos that the rear half of the R8 is seen a few feet away from the car itself suggesting that it was a massive shunt indeed.

But what is odd about this footage is that one of the videos appears to be uploaded by the suspected driver himself. In the video you hear him shouting: "We folded it but everything is fine,” in French.

However, this man wasn't there when the police turns up which suggests he did a runner. Following the accident, at least five owners of vehicles involved in the crash have filed a complaint and the search for the driver of the rented Audi R8 continues.

  • It doesn't at all surprise me. I saw few horrible crashes in France, but on motorways. I never saw anything like that in suburbs, several cars nose-to-tail yes, but not that bad. What did not surprise me that it's happening in France. Most people think that Italian drivers are crazy, but once you spend some time in France, your opinion will change very quickly.
