- Remember this? This is the damage the car picked up on stage 1 of the Central UP rally.
- A new tailgate was sourced.
- But the damage sustained to the side made people think that the entire C pillar and panel would have to be cut away and replaced.
- What is that backhoe for?
- Fellow competitor Adam VanDamme found a way to pull the rear panel back in shape with some heavy agricultural equipment
- Look. You can't tell it was damaged, can you? A great job by Adam VanDamme. Competitors working together for each other. It's what makes rally special. Thanks very much for all your work. See you out on stage soon.

The VW Golf got beat up a little at Central UP Rally. I received these pictures of the repairs
