Replacing celebrity brain crash?

But keeping celebrities??

Day by day I read a lot (and I mean a lot) of great reviews for The Grand Tour, but a couple of things never seems to escape the headlines. So why do we moan rather than just endevour?

Celebrity Brain Crash

I read somewhere that Celebrity Brain Crash was never going to kill stars off, but due to legal reasons the team was not allowed to feature a scene quiet as close as Star In A Reasonably Priced Car and that it was added last minute.

Now we always new that life wasnt going to be easy for the boys after Top Gear, but well lets face it they proved us all wrong. They came out a fertaliser smelling of roses. A lot of that has to do with the fact they are just 3 legends that can't be replaced, and the other half is the loyal fan base. Lets face it, GT has been great now there is no BBC in the way.

However I am constantly reading people moaning about Celebrity Brain Crash being sh*t or boring etc, but at the end of the day it lasts the whole of 4mins and then its over, and if you listen to the way Jeremy goes on about it he isnt the happiest its there either.. It may of been because it was a last minute legal thing, it maybe because Amazon wants it on, it may just be its publicity and having stars on the show is great for viewers. What ever the reason, I thought I would take it upon myself to make a suggestion in the hope the GT team reads this.

INSTEAD OF KILLING THEM OR HAVING THEM IN THE TENT...

James Corden With Jeremy Clarkson

James Corden With Jeremy Clarkson

Why not have a scene where Jeremy, James, Richard or the American drive a celebrity round the ebola drome whilst answering questions that we (THE FANS) submit via social media. Not only does it make it fun watching said celebrity being thrown around whilst trying to answer seriously, but it solves a big issue. Then its absaloutely nothing like Star in A reasonably Priced Car, it could be celeb spin out, or something along those lines.

The Second Issue:The American

Communist
Stig v American

Stig v American

I shall start this section off by reminding everyone first of all that it was the one and only Jeremy Clarkson that invented the stig in the first place and the fact the BBC got to keep him is only really a V sign to themselves. They got rid of Jezza's handwritting on the leader boards, they scrubbed him and the other two from almost everything, and were the only media giants to critasize the Grand Tour.

To The BBC?

To The BBC?

Now we don't want the show taken off the air before the lads retire (hopefully not to soon) so why copy the Stig? Everyone thought there was no race track allowed and bang they gave us one, no racing driver allowed and bang they give us that as well. Again its only ever really a few minutes out of the show's time and for all of the 5 lines max he has why be so bothered? Yes he is American, and yes he hasnt really got good taste in cars, but who actually cares. Perhaps replace him with Andy Wilman?? lol

Bring On Series 2!!!

Ryan Deacon

So I've taken the first step. It may be ignored, it may not be possible but I've put it out there. All in all as long as the guys continue what they do best I couldn't really give a shite about the above meaning this article is probably about as much use as a chocolate firegaurd. But im from Scotland and we have invented more stuff than you all ;) (lol)

    • She still has a racing career. Use Jeff Gordon or Tony Stewart or Dale Jr. Honestly, I like Mike Skinner, he represents the V8 savvy United States.

  • If you're going to keep Skinner, tone down his character. Maybe just let him be the pure driver/car enthusiast he is instead of some dime store cowboy ripoff. He's a good driver, and I'm sure a great guy in person, just let him do that instead.

As for Celebrity Brain Crash - I do rather think it's funny, but it does tend to drag on a bit most times. The BBC needs to relent and let them actually DO something with any guests they have, as they've clearly been bested in this situation. Watching a stunt man who is ostensibly Simon Pegg get "attacked" by birds and then fall into the river in Whitby was silly, but I'd rather seem him promoting his latest project and talking about what car he owned when he was still at uni.

You're not wrong. While The Grand Tour is tops, it's not without its flaws, and tweaks should probably be made.

  • The star driving round the track answering questions would certainly better than brain crush, better would be turning conversation street into a conversation with the star on the street with the stars actual crap car

  • take the celebrity on a short car review

  • Such a great idea I think it should be Jeremy driving power sliding like a maniac while, preferably celebs that don't like fast cars, try to answer questions while simultaneously their life flashes before there eyes and they try not to vomit.
