Report: Local Enthusiast Not Impressed With 2020 Porsche 911 Turbo S 0-100 Time
"Nissan has been achieving those times for years now"
To most of us, 0-100 km/h in 2.7 seconds is something to marveled at and the experience of doing it will never be a possibility, but that hasn't stopped local enthusiast and self-proclaimed JDM fanboy, Tom from voicing his displeasure at Porsche's best efforts.
Tom, 19, from Essex, the proud owner of a 1995 Vauxhall Corsa, notes how sub 3 second times have been achieved for years, as well as how Nissan has done so with the GT-R for quite some time now. When questioned about the fastest car he has personally ever driven, he responded "you're looking at it, mate" as he points to his Corsa*, but goes on to mention that his cousin has a mate with a Golf V GTi that he might take for a spin.
Tom then goes on to say, "if I were in the market for a high end sports car, I would look right past the 2020 911 Turbo S, because if I ever pulled up to the lights against a 2020 Nissan GT-R, I would be humiliated by its marginally faster 0-100 km/h time".
*Reporter declined invitation to be a passenger and cannot confirm the 0-100 time but is fairly sure its outside of 3 seconds.
