Triumph has revealed its all new Tiger 900 in three different guises, aimed from serious off-roading to long-distance touring.
The new bikes all share Triumph's new 900cc triple engine, making 10% more power than the old 800 with a healthy 87Nm of torque.
A major stepping stone for new riders was the relatively high weight of the old 800, putting off potential new customers. Triumph has addressed this and has also made the new 900 A2 compliant for newer riders.
Three new models to choose from
Triumph has announced three new Tiger 900 models to choose from. The standard Tiger is the base model, with a GT for touring and a Rally pro for those who like to take things off road.
Triumph has introduced the six-axis IMU integrated electronics package on the new Tiger, as well as top notch Brembo Stylema calipers up front. The shock is now also electronically adjustable, so you can tune things to your liking depending on the terrain, riding with a passenger and/or luggage, all at the touch of a button.
The bikes all come with adjustable riding modesl quickshifter/blipper and traction control as standard, with the Rally Pro having a bespoke off-road pro adjustable setting.
There's also tyre pressure monitoring and even heated seats, bringing the Tiger right up to date in terms of tech, together with their 7" TFT screen.
