REX TO NICE 2018 DAY3

A fresh start in this magnificent part of the World. Sitting having breakfast in the 5* hotel that had hosted last night's garden party, the Rusty Rex team discussed the morning meet. Day3 is when we award the car of the rally. Or what we consider to be the best car of the rally.

After a short argument amongst the Rusty Rex team, nothing was resolved, apart from Pete saying he's not get involved any more. So it was settled best car was awarded to 2 cars! Both MX5s. Pete want the Disco.

Today's route took us along the top of lake Como with the option to visit a famous dam.

As in true Rusty Rex team tradition as soon as the last team was sent on there way the comments started. The very useful pointing out of every spend limit and traffic light for the next 40 miles. Then we had I need the loo, I'm hungry! McDonalds In Como was the shout, so after feeding time and placing a shopping trolley over the tale of the zebra car we were back on our way. Heading up the Aosta valley to take the Little st Bernard Pass into Val'd-Isere.

Val'd-Isere, the next over night stop. Evening venue was a sports bar just on the square where the evening Bastille day celebrations were happening. But first marking challenges and listening to tales of adventure before joining in the celebrations for another late night.
