Richard Hammond's Extraordinary Talent Of Guessing The Car...

The old game shows are the best aren't they? Who's Line Is It Anyway, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, and now, this one. It was called PetrolHeads with Neil Morrissey at the helm and focussed on motoring trivia. Richard Hammond was a team captain and each week had it off against Chris Barrie.

Unfortunately, it only lived for six shows, but while it was on, it was bloody brilliant. Not a surprise as a lot of the Top Gear team were behind it such as script writer Richard Porter and Brian Klein.

My favourite part of the show consisted of each team having to guess the car first. They were given tiny glimpses of each car and the first one to shout out the write car won. Richard Hammond was surprisingly good at it. Or maybe not so surprising, more irritating for everyone else involved. James May even got involved for one episode, and was also extremely good at it.

It's a good idea for an app this.... Maybe I should look into that.
