All the keen EV fans who are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their Rivian R1T or R1S they have had to wait longer due to almost constant delays but with the confirmed date so far being August (this year) but no one really knows if there will be anymore delays, lets just hope there are no more. Some of you readers may already know that Rivian has already received financial support from big companies such as Amazon and Ford.

Now the R1T is not the only model that Rivian are going to produce as they are currently working on the all electric amazon van (hence the funding from the online shopping retailer.)

People on the Rivian Owners Group managed to find six new trademarks, (in the forums) Rivian recently applied to protect the names R3S, R4S, R5S, R3T, R4T, and R5T. The company had set plans to produce six all new models by 2025 back in late 2019.

If you haven't noticed already there seems to be a general trend with Rivian's models is that 'S' stands for Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) and the 'T' stands for Pick Up Trucks. Although this may only be a fan theory it is highly likely this is the case, of which, case we can only assume that each model will be similar in size and general design.

I don't know about you but I actually kind of like Rivian and I think their cars looks good and is one of the best EV automakers out there.

But back to these unconfirmed models, Rivian have in recent memory announced models such as the R2R and the R2X but ended up not going any further as just a name. So it is unknown whether any of these models will take the form of a car but from what we have learned so far, we can say that at least some of these models will make it onto the road in the near future.
