Rivian RT1 spotted filming in Canada
The last spot of the Rivian RT1 was winter testing was in Argentina earlier this year. This time it is spotted in Vancouver Island in Ucluelet, British Columbia. Youtuber Ukeedaze filmed the 2 minute video on the (whatever shade of) Blue Rivian RT1 pick up truck in silent action. I also happened to notice the orange brake calipers.
The Youtuber also got a bit of the EV showing some of the additional space between the pickup bed and the cab. This might just be the bonus part of the Rivian extra storage space. It already has brilliant specifications - a range of 400+ miles, a quad motor system, very sporty - can do 0-60 in 3 seconds, a towing capacity of 11,000 pounds (4.9 tonnes approx.) and a wading depth of 3 feet. You can see the amount of ground clearance it has.
This is now the benchmark EV that Tesla will have beat, because lets face it, Rivian is a specialist maker of EVs that are meant for adventures.
This is one EV that has pushed the limits of EV and has also succeeded in the pursuit. The best part of this EV is its ability, practicality but, it looks so bloody good. I don't think there is a better looking pickup truck in the market. I reckon this is the only pick up truck that Dr. James May might like.
