This huge one-third scale Huracán Performante Development Model was donated by Lamborghini themselves to RM Sotheby's Race Against Covid online auction, which took place between June 15th and 22nd. When the digital hammer dropped, the resin model brought in 30,000 pounds. All of the proceeds of the auction were donated to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) global response to COVID-19. RM Sotheby's teamed up with the FIA to auction off over 95 pieces of automobilia and VIP experiences to raise over 845,000 pounds. FIA had already ponied up a 1 million pound donation to the cause prior to the auction.

  • The person that bought it probably has a Huracan and probably a garage big enough to put it next to it. It might now be worth buying a 1:18, 1:43, 1:64 scale models too so there’s a full set.

Maybe that would just be me!

  • Regarding where you’d put it ... after much thought, this is truly a bigger dilemma than one would think ... it’s man cave material only ... there is simply no other quality option other than hanging from the ceiling of your garage.

  • I would park it next to a scale model of my house and driveway, put the model on that model. Take a pic and post it and see how many of my mates think I actually won the lottery or something

  • I do have a scale front of Peter De Savary’s house (he was the guy that used to own lands end) as my mum was friends with his wife Lana and iPad a college project do make the front of a house so mum asked if i could do there’s. So i could use that scale which admittedly is about 1:200 scale and use clever positioning lol. Actually there is a good story about the De Savary’s and their cars if anyone is bored
