The 991.2 GT2 RS was the first series production model where we used NACA ducts to ventilate the braking system – historically we’ve only used these intakes to improve the interior ventilation of our GT3 Cup cars. Their shape was developed by the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA), the predecessor of the NASA space agency. They’re particularly effective as they can direct air into a vehicle with minimal drag – just what you need at 340 km/h.
