The most insane Outlaw creation to ever emerge from Emory Motorsport's garage is about to go up for sale. RM Sotheby's is getting ready to host the craziest online auction to ever take place, and you're looking at their headliner. The auction has been dubbed SHIFT/Monterey and will take place of their originally planned Car Week auction in August. RM Sotheby's is bringing over 200 cars to this digital auction. Consignments are still rolling in until July 31st, but they're already auctioning off cars like a Pagani Huayra, a BMW M1 Procar, Bugatti Type 57C, a Ferrari 575 Zagato and F40, and of course this wonderful Rod Emory creation.

This, of course, is the 356 RSR. You'd likely find it in the middle of the Venn diagram titled "Beautiful Craftsmanship and Raw Driving Machines". Rod Emory partnered with MOMO to bring this beast to life. What started as a sketch and a chassis from a 1990 964 C2 donor eventually became this amazing automobile over the course of a four year metamorphosis. Its heart is the bespoke Emory-Rothsport, twin-turbocharged 2.4L flat four which makes 393 horsepower. It's body panels are aluminum and insides are made of fiberglass, weighing around a scant 1950 pounds. When it made its debut at Luftgekühlt 6 last year in LA, and quickly broke the Internet.

Rod Emory confirmed on Instagram that Momo is indeed selling the car. His Memoji sums up my feelings on their decision to part with the RSR too. You don't even know what I'd give for a chance to see this car, never mind drive it, let alone OWN IT! As of right now, RM Sotheby's hasn't assigned an estimate for this car, but you know the old saying: if you have to ask, you can't afford it! I can't wait to watch this auction when it hits RMsothebys.com from August 14th and 15th.

Rod Emory is one cool guy. I got the chance to meet him alongside other P-Car Enthusiasts down in Miami for Das Renn Treffen and his back story alone of how he was born is cool let alone having Rod's famous build(s) being displayed and auctioned off alongside other cars like Pagani Huayra, a BMW M1 Procar, Bugatti Type 57C, a Ferrari 575 Zagato and an F40 is gonna be a pretty badass auction, to say the least.
Ok but how do I make these usable as a wallpaper?
