Rolls-Royce Drops Wraith and Dawn From North American Lineup
After 2021, Rolls-Royce's two-doors will be no more in North America.
1. Rolls-Royce will drop the entry-level Wraith and Dawn from its North American lineup after 2021.
2. No replacements have been announced, and production will stop after 2021.
3. Following 2021, only four-door Rolls-Royce models will be on sale in North America.
Rolls-Royce has announced that the two-door Wraith and Dawn models will be cut from the North American lineup come the end of 2021. No replacements have been confirmed, but are expected, and the entry-level vehicles will continue being sold in other parts of the world (for now at least).
The Wraith and Dawn are based on the 2008-era BMW 7-series platform, and were introduced in 2013 and 2015, respectively. So no, they aren't the newest vehicles for sale. After this change is initiated at the end of this year, only four-door Rolls-Royces will be purchasable: the Ghost, Cullinan, and Phantom. This isn't expected to stick, and new models are likely to arrive soon with the automaker's all-aluminum "Architecture of Luxury," which underpins the Phantom, Cullinan, and Ghost.
