Rolls-royce phantom coupé
Looking every bit of the $700,000 of its price tag, I was smitten with the very limited production vehicle
According to Rolls-Royce, it takes 60 pair of hands to build a Phantom Coupé. And each person, who happens to play a part in making a car, is well versed and highly accomplished. Rolls-Royce it turns out, has an apprentice program that is the envy of the car manufacturing world. It is little wonder that Rolls-Royce has been the de facto luxury car maker the world over for well over 100 years. When the re-introduced Phantom saloon first hit the market back in 2003, it took the auto world by storm. There was simply nothing any car maker could do to re-create or even challenge the beauty and unparalleled attention to detail that Rolls-Royce accomplished. Now into the twilight of the Phantom, the Coupé model is the quintessential jewel of the crown.
Twinkling with its five coats of paint, which it should be noted, takes 7 days to finish and another five hours of hand polishing, the Phantom Coupé that showed up to my house was a sight to behold. Looking every bit of the $700,000 of its price tag, I was smitten with the very limited production vehicle. Stepping in the subtle blue interior of my newest steed, the car dripped in elegance. With 450 individual pieces cut, stitched and fitted into the car, I appreciated every single hand that created what coddled my body. It also didn't hurt that people were mesmerized whenever I drove by. If the Phantom saloon is a bold statement of how rich you are, the Coupé is fist in the face of how much better you are than a mere Phantom owner. I loved it!
Fitted with a 6.75 liter V12 engine, the Phantom is agile despite its girth. And in a nod to nature, the car can pull you an astounding 390 miles on a single tank of gas. Peering out of the pillarless side windows, I witnessed the world slide by while my comfort was and safety were properly protected. The Phantom and its Coupé brother are in their final months of production, this is to give way to a new Phantom in a few years. However, we should appreciate what Rolls-Royce has done so far and bask in the greatness of such a valued marquee. This car is worth every single penny you pay for it and its value will only continue to rise. It is definitively the best car ever built and it will reward its owner with each outing it goes on. There is simply nothing better. It is with all this in mind that we say to purchase a Phantom Coupé and never sell it, ever.
