Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has just shared their first quarter sales results. Having delivered 1,380 vehicles between 1 January and 31 March, the first quarter of 2021 is the most successful first quarter in the company’s 116-year lifeline - this figure is also 62% more than the Q1 of 2020.

Having released the all-new Ghost last year, it is no surprise to see Rolls-Royce experience such success this year. Moreover, the automaker expects to see similar levels of success all the way up to the second half of this year.

Rolls-Royce’s CEO, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, made a comment saying: “Rolls-Royce Motor Cars made a strong start to 2021, reflected today in our first quarter sales figures, which are the highest in our 116-year history. With robust order books across our product range, particularly for the new Ghost and Cullinan, sales growing in key markets and Bespoke commissions running at record levels, our business is in excellent shape. We have every reason to be optimistic for the remainder of 2021."

    • Well not to be political or anything, but the current climate has made a few people quite rich.

  • Rolls Royce is not the only one that with success story. I read an article last year in Australian Financial Review about every single carmaker smashing all the records, in Australia, at least. The explanation was that borders are shut, even between the states. No one travels anywhere. Hence, those who would travel are spending their money on new cars.
