  • Reaction time enough to HOOT, why not the first reaction to brake? Bad driving by van driver, compounded by ignorance in cam-car?

    • Brake hard you let the van in and maybe let the hgv behind slam into the back of him?

    • didnt need to brake hard, just lift off the gas early enough to avoid the van hitting him.

  • The van drivers at fault. You have two lanes off the roundabout and into the road. He should've stayed in his lane.

  • 100% the Vans fault. Changed lane without checking it was clear. If anyone claims the car was undertaking, there is no such thing on a roundabout. That said, if the car driver was more aware and thinking ahead he could have seen that coming and avoided it. Drive as if every other person on the road is an idiot and you've got a good chance against the ones that are.

  • van should have stuck to his lane, instead of cutting up cam vehicle, that said if the cam vehicle driver was paying attention, he may have seen the van start to move over and back off a bit.
