Russian driver has fright of their life as logs fall off lorry onto the road
This is the stuff of nightmares. Was the driver lucky or quite the opposite?
Have you ever clenched up when passing a seemingly overloaded lorry? That may have something to do with one of the scenes in Final Destination 2. Be it a boat being transported across the country or what looks like all the hay in the world piled on top of a single truck, you will always see me praying that the ropes hang on.
Unfortunately, failures do happen sometimes and reading about them won’t put your mind at ease when passing these behemoths on the road. Therefore, why not watch one of these terrifying ordeals instead.
News site RT recently reported on some frightening dashcam footage showing a trailer full of logs suddenly fall onto the road in front of a driver minding their own business. Although the car wasn’t quite under the lorry when the logs decided they didn’t want to become tables, it was still hit by them as they rapidly slid along the tarmac.
Depending on how you view the world, you’ll either see this as a lucky near miss or a very unlucky accident. In fact, one could say that as the car wasn’t right next to the truck as it dropped the logs, the driver was very lucky to not be totally crushed by the unavoidable cargo. However, a more pessimistic person would say that for the wood to fall right in front of the car in the first place is almost as if the driver had been cursed.

Business as usual in Russia.
*Final Destination flashbacks intensify*
If he had been going just a few mph faster he would have been right beneath the falling log and hurt or killed
I'd say the lucky driver here is the one that pass the truck under the bridge.
