Want to ride in style while also having enough armor to withstand sniper shots, blasts by up to 120kg of TNT, and most bullets, but don't want to go through an aftermarket company that either sells older, less stylish vehicles or just chops your car up to add armor to it? Enter, the 2022 Mercedes-Benz S-Class GUARD edition.

All-new for 2022, this car provides what dictators, celebrities, presidents, politicians, and civilians alike have always wanted. A fully stock, factory-made, armored Mercedes S-Class. It's a dream come true! This car will have VPAM VR10 rated armor, which is the highest armor rating for civilian vehicles. This means it has Michelin PAX run-flat tires, capable of being driven on a puncture for up to 30 kilometers, and 10cm thick, multi-layered polycarbonate glass. The body shell is also reinforced and equipped with armor in specific places for enhanced protection.
This car also has other, non-armor-related protective measures in place. First of all, the GUARD S-Class looks exactly like any other S-Class you would see on the street. This is so potential attackers would immediately know that the car is armored. Also, it is equipped with 4-wheel-drive as standard. Additionally, it comes equipped with an emergency oxygen tank and a fire extinguisher. It also has hydraulic windows so if the onboard electronics fail, the windows may still be used. The gearbox and the steering have also been recalibrated for better handling and performance. The reason for this is that the S-Class GUARD weighs over 4 tons, which is about twice as much as the average S-Class!
As you can see, this car is extremely luxurious. It has all kinds of options such as premium leather, a lot of touchscreens, and every creature comfort you could ask for. It is equipped with a V12 engine that produces 603 horsepower and 850Nm torque and the speed is limited to 120 miles per hour. This car will set you back $650,000 which is about the amount 5 S-Classes would cost.
Mercedes tweeted about the new S-Class GUARD earlier today. Further news will come at its world premiere at the IAA in Munich

So what's this fad with the plastic shield in the grille, I've seen on some cars recently?
