"After being on the road for over three years, we entered Pakistan, a country of much ill-repute, but it was wonderful, so beautiful, and so friendly. This picture was taken on the Karakoram Highway (KKH), close to the Chinese border. A couple of years ago, a major landslide turned the road into a lake. You now have to cross it on small boats. As scary as it seems to get a bike on a boat, the local people always know what to do. We had not seen another traveller in days and our big bike attracted a lot of attention, but everybody is so nice. We recommend Pakistan to every traveller, especially the KKH. It is one of the wonders of the world!"
