Sebastian Vettel Sets An Example Of Sportsmanship
By Nitish Deshpande
Lewis Hamilton won his fifth driver's F1 world championship at the Mexico GP last weekend. Out of all the previous championships with Mercedes, this was really the year where Lewis was tested to his limits but he managed to hold onto his nerves when needed and emerged victorious. Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel looked set to finally break the Mercedes streak before it all started to go wrong for him after the German GP. Lewis capitalized on Ferrari's failure and fought his way to finally seize the title with two races to go!
The second part of the season did not go according to Vettel's plan and after losing the title to Lewis, Vettel set an example of sportsmanship in Mexico. Sebastian went over to the garage of Mercedes and congratulated everyone including a pant less Toto Wolff. He may blame everyone while he is in the car but outside the car, he is proving to be a true sportsman and a gentleman. Hopefully we get to see more of the rivalry next year too!
