See Ya Rudolph: A Dodge Challenger Hellcat Is Santa’s Sleigh Of Choice

Christmas has come early for this Santa...

3y ago

Welcome to what could be the fastest sleigh in the world. Dodge has created a one-off Challenger Hellcat Redeye sleigh for the festive period – despite Thanksgiving and Black Friday still being a while away. We like these sorts of presents.

The Hell-sleigh features that same 797hp supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that you’ll find in the road car. On the asphalt, the beastly Redeye hits 0-60mph in 3.4 seconds and, given a long enough strip, will hit a vmax of 203mph – even with its blocky shape. This promises great things for Santa, who’ll have no problem delivering to all those children on Christmas Eve…

There are a few fairly obvious changes from the Hellcat you can actually buy. It’s a cabrio for the first time, with a chopped windscreen, no doors and the C-pillar acting as a massive spoiler. Sort of Superbee-like. Plus, the exhausts are now side-exiting, presumably so Santa can keep his feet nice and warm when he gets in and out. The logo has also been replaced with a unique reindeer design, and you’ll be able to buy your loved ones merch with this logo on as we get closer to Christmas. Oh, nearly forgot. It’s got skis instead of wheels, which’ll no doubt do wonders to the handling characteristics…

It’s part of Dodge’s ‘Big Finish’ festive campaign, and features ex-wrestler Bill Goldberg as the most muscular Santa you’ve probably ever seen. His traditional sleigh just doesn’t cut it anymore, so his elves create this bespoke sleigh. You’ll be able to watch how those magical pixies changed the Redeye on Dodge’s YouTube channel from December.

So even though Halloween is barely over, it’s time for us to deck the halls and wish you guys a Merry Christmas!

  • I hope santa has access to lots of petrol stations on the way! (not to mention a rather sizeable wallet)

    • Me too! It’ll make him quicker but he’ll have to stop loads to fill up. Maybe he’ll still use the reindeers to save fuel 😂

    • Or maybe he’s sponsored by Shell?🧐
