Sam from SeenThroughGlass has decided to sell his beloved Porsche 911 Carrera T after much debate. This is the same Porsche that he drove around the world in 2019.

After completing his epic journey, he wondered whether he should sell the car but decided to visit the tuning company, Litchfield and had a change of heart. They gave it some more power and a fruitier exhaust which made him fall in love with it all over again.

However, he has now decided to sell his 911 Carrera T. This is what he said over on his Instagram:

"Sadly I’ve decided it is time to part ways with my epic Porsche 911 Carrera T... the car that transported me across Australia, Europe and North America during #DriveTheWorld."

"I’ve been going back and forth on this decision all year but the Carrera T has achieved so much; delivering many happy miles and receiving a lot of love on the channel. It’s time for a new chapter and with everything going on in the world, I need to reconsider my priorities and free up some cash for other exciting projects that I still want to achieve in 2020."

"The car is available through @tonygravelwoodcarsales and comes with the Litchfield upgrade, Akrapovic exhaust, CIBIE lights and Topaz Skin, however, can also be reverted back to factory specification. !!Serious enquiries only please!!"

It's a shame it has come to the end but let's hope someone buys this amazing car and drives it as much as it should be driven. Sam gave this car the best introduction into life so let's see what's next for this little car!

Click here to check out Gravelwood Car Sales. The car has a total of 32,000 miles on the clock and is up for £67,990.

Has Sam done the right thing by selling it?

  • Probably the highest mileage T on the market, I'd suspect

    • I think it has around 30k miles on the clock? I could be wrong

    • True, but the fact that it was the Drive The World car will probably balance out the value hit that it'll have from being such a high-mileage example as depreciation marches on. Fame has a serious effect on value.

  • I suspect it's out of budget for me... :/

  • Well...it can lose the Cibie lights straight away...I have no clue why they were ever necessary.

  • If possible he will probably buy it back one day

  • I mean 70 grand is quite a reasonable price for a 911 that has done that high mileage.. bit on the high side because of its fame but still quite reasonable!
