  • Joe Normal doesn't get any assistance when trying to overtake on the road so why should the 'best drivers in the world' get help overtaking on a racetrack where everyone is going in the same direction?

    • I think that without the blue flags, it would be more interesting. It's still up to the drivers how much they fight the lead drivers but it could help keep some of the midfield battles go on for longer if drivers don't have to slow down to let lead...

    • Then why not leave it up to the drivers if they move aside or not. If the drivers leading the race are as good as we think they are they shouldn't have any trouble overtaking them. And it puts on more of a show for the fans and could help close the gap...

  • Backmarker cars are at the back because they aren’t good enough to compete at the front. Why should uncompetitive cars be allowed to spoil the race for the rest of the field?
