The third race day in the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup series takes place today (Saturday) at a virtual Donington Park.

The double-header at the English circuit should be an interesting fight, with the top of the leaderboard looking particularly close: with 103 points, Aussie Dayne Warren (Logitech G Altus Esports) leads, four points ahead of Brian Lockwood (USA/RaceKraft Esports). Last year’s champion Joshua Rogers (AUS/VRS Coanda Simsport) ranks third in the global Esports championship, with 90 points, while F1 driver Max Verstappen (NL/Team Redline) poses a threat, having come second at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (Spain).

Six of the 40 top sim racers taking part will tackle the Esports event with a home advantage: Jack Sedgwick (Simucube ineX Racing), David Williams (VRS Coanda Simsport), Jamie Fluke (Apex Racing Team), Kevin Ellis Jr. (Apex Racing Team) and the two drivers of the Red Bull Racing Esports squad, Graham Carroll and Sebastian Job, are all Brits.

The 40-strong field will contest a 15-minute sprint race and a 30-minute main race streamed live on various online Porsche channels, while viewers can also tune in to watch free practice, a qualifying session and a warm-up. The action starts at 15:45 CEST, with the main race at 16:45.
