Simon Roberts is the new Williams F1 Acting Team Principal
CEO Mike O'Driscoll instead resigns from his position
In recent weeks there have been notable changes in Williams' internal structure following the acquisition by Dorilton Capital. The Williams family has been completely removed from the management of the company and their duties will be filled in the next few times by Matthew Savage, Darren Fultz and James Matthews.
In addition to the resignation of the Williams family, there was also that of Mike O'Driscoll, who has held the position of CEO since 2011. Despite his resignation, O'Driscoll will help the team's new management as a consultant to facilitate the transfer of ownership.
Simon Roberts has been hired as the new Acting Team Principal, who will hold this role until the end of the championship for the time being. Before being hired by Williams, the British engineer had held various management roles at McLaren and Force India.
