SIMONE CONTI MOTORCYCLES SXV: BY INSPIRATION
In the first week of May, Milan hosted the first edition of Motorcycle Arts & Designers, an event dedicated to the innovations proposed in motorcycle design by both large companies and small artisan companies.
Among the most interesting projects, there was the completion of an Aprilia SXV presented by Simone Conti Motorcycles.
Although the 550 cc twin-cylinder engine operated by a five-speed gearbox was in no way elaborated, the design of the bike has been completely restyled.
The design of the fairings, in particular, is remarkable, (they also make the bike look like a sports motorbike), as it is a project done without any preparatory study and relying exclusively on the designer's inspiration.
Equipped with a new exhaust system, the SXV was lightened by 3 kg compared to the original model eliminating various elements such as the light system or the license plate holder.
Series production is not currently planned.
