Six-wheel Chiron render makes an already elongated car even longer
A few months ago, we were all spammed with the news of Bugatti being the first company to push a road-going car beyond the 300mph barrier. The car used was a modified version of the Chiron that we now know is called the Chiron Super Sport 300+.
The ‘300+’ featured various aerodynamic modifications from a redesigned nose to an elongated rear end. For some reason, this bum extension has inspired people to create renders of an even longer Chiron, this time with an extra axle.
Designed by online automotive artist, Aksyonov Nikita, the so-called Chiron SS 6x6 is much longer than the real-world car, and I think a little uglier. Unfortunately, the addition of the extra set of wheels has changed the car’s proportions and turned it into what looks like an Australian Ute. In fact, to fit the second rear axle, Nikita was forced to push the normal one forward making the cabin seem shorter.
Despite the somewhat unconventional look of the six-wheel Chiron, it would certainly be interesting to find out how it would drive. These highly powerful Bugatti hypercars don’t have a reputation of spinning up their tyres thanks to their all-wheel drive system. However, one can only imagine the grip one would get from a six-wheel car with over 1,500hp.
