Vintage trucks dont get any cooler than the datsun rotary pickup....maybe do a 13b swap and a sweet turbo

It depends. A GM Truck would use a LS of some sort. A Dodge would use a HEMI and a Ford would use a Coyote.
There are plenty of "sacrilegious" folks around who might mix formulas as well.
