My first DriveTribe visit happened when I decided to click on the links of DT's YouTube videos in late Summer of 2020. I was immediately surprised to see a site completely oriented around the car culture... and I was soon hooked into reading the articles and participating in the quizzes.
After a little while, during November, I thought I could be the one who could be creating a content as well. I came up with the idea of guessing the car paint name, and worked on it for several hours, looking through the many brochures and sites. After posting the quiz just before going to bed, I was overwhelmed with reactions. Having such many view counts and likes was something I haven't had until that moment.
Then, I saw a TribeCoin competition post that gives away 250 TC for the best article in Carticles (I think). I got interested and thought what to talk about. The misfortunate Korean sports car seemed like a good writing material, so I researched about Proto/Oullim Spirra and wrote about it for a few days. I didn't win the competition, but the views, likes, and positive comments were enough to satisfy me. This made me feel that DriveTribe is where I can be appreciated by my works, and have DT as one of my favorite communities.
So a little over a year, I have been creating articles about car stories, news, and often my works. The positive comments, and the amount of views and likes I got greatly cheered me up every time. Of course, I also frequently looked at others' content (Sam Blockhan, Squirrel With Antlers and Jonathan Tea are some of the DTers that come to my mind) and learned something new and/or have some time for thinking.
And now, here we are. It was all of a sudden, especially as DT was still on continuous updates and Studio getting better and better. It is painful to know that the community I loved to be in will be gone. I'm very desperate to change this 'fate', but I do also know that the decision is made and no change can be done now.
There's a quote, "End가 아닌 And로 이어지는 이야기" (A story that continues by 'and', not 'end') in Seotaiji & The Boys - Goodbye Best Album. DriveTribe is going to be closed, there's no denying in that, but I am going to continue my story and showcase my works, and will wish for a new community with the spirit of DT to come out in the near future. The possibility of such community's appearance may not be so high... but I do feel that it is possible.
Thank you all the DriveTribers for the great articles, works, photos, videos, quizzes and polls, and... making such a great community. And thank you for the support of my works, even when they were mediocre. Posting articles and getting positive reactions on DriveTribe was one of the happiest moments in my life, and I truly mean it. I hope to see you all in my social sites, and at a new place full of DriveTribe's spirit.

I have really enjoyed your articles about Korean cars and the pictures from the Hyundai car exhibitions. I also found out about little stop-motion animated cars from you. Your content wasn't bleak and it was informative and had some variation to it.
Thank you... I am so glad I was also able to create content for enjoyment and learnings like other great DriveTribers :)
