Jeremy Clarkson recently announced on DriveTribe that filming has begun for Season 3 of The Grand Tour.
The first thing to notice is the snow - there's a lot of it. Initial predictions for location included the northern US, Canada, Russia and Switzerland.
Subsequent posts on DriveTribe and Instagram revealed that he was driving the 2018 Lamborghini Urus behind a 2018 Volkswagen Amarok (very likely a crew vehicle).
Since then, Clarkson has published two further photos on Instagram which, upon close inspection, reveal that this film (which is likely a test of the Urus, Lambo's brand new super-SUV) is taking place in Sweden. Here is all the evidence.
Firstly, Clarkson posted a picture of an elk, succintly captioned 'An elk'.
Jezza is known to be a Monty Python fan, so (as several Instagrammers suggested in the Comments section) this is likely to be a subtle reference to a classic Monty Python sketch featuring a character named Anne Elk.
However - crucially - the elk is also the national animal of Sweden.
Shortly thereafter, another photo appeared on Jeremy's Instagram profile, featuring a shop front bearing the name BRA Service, captioned 'Well that's handy'.
A comment on the post from an Instagram user with the handle @flygbra reads 'bra reklam för oss', which is Swedish for 'good advertising for us'.
What's more, as it turns out, that is the official Instagram account for a company called Braathens Regional Airways - or BRA, for short.
Sure enough, the company's logo matches the icon on the shop front in the photo.
Currently, all the flights this company offers are domestic (within Sweden) which means that the first segment being filmed for The Grand Tour Season 3 features Clarkson testing the Lamborghini Urus in Sweden.
Given the level of snow in the photos, and the moderate weather that Stockholm and southern Sweden have had recently, we can further deduce that it's likely Jezza flew to one of the more northern airports (Mora, Sundsvall, Östersund or Umeå) and is filming in the surrounding area.
He might be at the Arjeplog winter test site, which the boys visited during Season 18 of Top Gear.
My bet is that Clarkson flew to Östersund airport and then travelled the 500km to Arjeplog, where he's testing the Lamborghini Urus.
