The Aston Martin Vulcan is a track-only car and now one of the 24 owners has finally done what we've all been hoping for by turning it road legal! And to my joy, it is a UK owner.
The following images have surfaced across the internet showing the road legal car (even though the number plate does not come up so it could be recently registered). To make it road legal, you have to go to a motorsport engineering firm called RML Group who started offering this conversion last year due to the demand from both their existing customers as well as Aston Martin owners.
The conversion depends on what part of the world you are but it involves fitting a headlight cluster and may even involve changing the rear lights depending on where the car is going to live. Of course it would also involve creating a number plate space and an actual number plate as you can see above.
The performance is not tweaked in the conversion so the Vulcan will still produce 804bhp from its 7.0-litre V12 engine and will go from 0-62mph in 2.9 seconds. Now I just hope to see this beauty on the road one day!
