Someone managed to write off an SV Roadster in just 70 miles

The Lamborghini Aventador SV is £315,000 worth of raging Italian testosterone with a monstrous 6.5-litre V12 engine to boot. Examples are limited to just 500 units and now they've even more limited after the demise of this one.

Without a back story it's hard to gauge what actually happened, but what we do know is that someone managed to write off this SV Roadster in just 73 miles. The extensive front end damage suggests that it rear ended another vehicle and that the passenger may not have been wearing a seat belt due to the impact mark on the passenger side of the windscreen.

Alas, it's repairable and seems to be mostly cosmetic damage although it's hard to tell what's going on underneath from pictures. It's for sale via Copart and the current bid stands at $170,000. You can view the advert below.

  • "Demise of this one" and references to it being "written off" but then you say it is repairable? Makes no sense.
