Someone Tried Building A Fidet-Spinner From Three Cars and It Worked - Kind Of..
A couple of russian guys from Garage 54 made their own fidget-spinner from Three ladas. Watch here how this went...
Fidget spinners are the latest hype around the world right now. You can see people doing crazy tricks with those whirling discs, but so far nobody has made an attempt to transfer the concept to a bigger scale. Well, at least until now: A couple of russian guys from the Youtube automotive channel Garage 54 build a fidget spinner out of three Lada 2109s.
However, this venture seems so crazy it just has to work, right? Well, as you can see in the video down below, it actually kind of did, although it came with some troubles starting in the beginning:
Unfortunately, one of the Ladas, which are all front wheel drive and stripped off their rear end before being mended together, breaks down during the stunt. Also, it seems like the Lada itself ain't the best choice for building a fidget spinner out of a car - a vehicle that's more keen to drifting and which is fitted with a more powerful engine might work better for this purpose, as motor1.com concludes in their article.
Also, motor1.com proposes that our favourite show-hosts from The Grand Tour - with their bigger budget - should give this a go. Unsurprisingly, I have to admit that this would be for sure a great opportunity reviving the old "build-hilarious-vehicles-no-sane-person-would-ever-drive" acts from Top Gear. What do you think?
