Someone's already twin-turbocharged a Lamborghini Huracan STO
It's been done by Underground Racing and now produces 1,400hp
With production units of the Lamborghini Huracan STO coming out this summer, it was only going to be a matter of time before someone turbocharged one – and it took less than a month.
From the factory, the Huracan STO is powered by a V10 engine which produces the same amount of power as the Performante – 631hp. But what a company called Underground Racing has done is take it to the next level.
This STO has been fitted with Underground Racing’s Stage 3+ kit which comes with billet wheel Precision turbochargers, M1 MoTeC standalone engine management system, in-house clutch setup with a billet clutch cage assembly and a billet 1st through 7th transmission gear set upgrade to handle the extra power – all 1,400hp of it.
All this power is quite difficult to push through the rear wheels, so Underground Racing added a JRR M1 MoTeC controlled all-wheel-drive drivetrain which enables the driver to switch between 2WD and 4WD at the touch of a button.
