Elon, elon, elon.... If you're a fan of Telsa, then I'm sure you're aware that tonight (March 14th @ 8PM PDT) that Tesla will launching it's new Model Y. While there are rumors flying around as to what exactly the Model Y is, we here at the Engine Baes don't care about that. Right now, we care about the fact that Elon Musk's lineup spells out S3XY.
MODEL S, MODEL 3, MODEL X, AND SOON THE MODEL Y
Personally, we are dying from laughter at how ridiculous and clever this automotive manufacturing company is becoming. Recently, we've been working with a few Tesla models ourselves for private projects and we do have to agree Teslas are pretty S3XY. Now, the real hard hitting question we have to ask ourselves: Was this just a coincidence or is this planned? Given Elon Musk's track record (sending a car into space, creating flamethrowers, ect.) we don't think this S3XY line up is a mere coincidence - but now it begs the question should he stop creating new models so Tesla can forever be the brand with S3XY as it's 4 models.
Sadly, we already know Trucks are in development. But we do have another fun theory I would like to share. How amazing would it be if Tesla came out with these new models: Model T (Truck), Model 3S (Minivan sized model), Model L (some ultra luxury model), and Model A (their top of the line, luxury roadster). Then the whole line up would spell: S3XY T3SLA.
Maybe we're overthinking this a lot, but seriously - this hilarious. We're keeping an eye out for any more shenanigans Telsa might be up to in the future.
