A Porsche Taycan Turbo has today started an incredible road trip from Dubai to Saudi Arabia, with Saudi motorsport personality Aseel Al-Hamad and your very own tribe leader at the wheel. The trip is designed to showcase both Porsche’s first electric sports car and Porsche’s upcoming first race in Formula E.
First stop: the Dubai Autodrome and a meeting with a pair of legends - Timo Bernhard and a 918 Spyder. For a man who’s used to the power of the incredible Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo, Timo was incredibly impressed with the acceleration of the Taycan. “It’s got instant power delivery. The launch control is the most stunning bit, where it feels like an explosion the way the car jumps off the line.” High praise indeed.
Taycan Turbo: combined power consumption 26.0 kWh/100 km; combined CO2 emissions 0 g/km
