    Two years after the 991 first appeared, a new Targa was added to the 911 family.

    An all-new concept combined classic Targa design cues with the convenience of an advanced folding roof.

    Just like the original Targa, it featured the distinctive wide bar in place of B-pillars, a removable front roof section and a wraparound rear window without a C-pillar. B

    ut unlike the analogue classic, the roof system was fully automated, stowing seamlessly behind the seats in a matter of seconds.
