Spotted : Jensen Interceptor

Spotted by Tribey Davy Smith - Well done Davyn!

These hand-built beauties were built near Birmingham UK between 1966 and 1976.

The body was designed externally to Jensen, by Italian Stylist Carrozzeria Touring, and early bodies were built by Vignale before Jensen took the process in-house.

Powered by the fantastic Chrysler engines - early models (only 22 built) had a 383, and most had 440's with a choice of 3x2 or a single 4-barrel carburettor.

The huge wrap-around back window doubled as a tail-gate.

In 1975 Jensen passed into receivership, and production ended in 1976 when the parts ran out.
