Spotted : Pontiac GTO Judge
Spotted in Adelaide, South Australia by one of my Tribeys, Davyn Smith
Davyn Smith took these great shots at West Beach, South Australia.
The car seems to be a 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge - I've never seen one here before, it's a great spot!
The Judge is probably the most desirable of GTO's and came optioned with the 400 Cubic Inch RamAir III V8, Rally II Wheels, and a Hurst Shifter.
The Judge was made famous by an advertising campaign, which drew on a long-running comedy sketch (Here Come Da Judge) by Rowan & Martin.

Here comes the judge!
Cool write up Dave 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾. Just what I was hoping. Did a lot more justice on the topic than I could have. Looks more at home with your posts than mine (being mainly Japanese) and info on it that I could not have provided. Knew it was the right person to pass these photos on to. Cheers for the name drop too. Thanks for the great write up and look forward to more on the euro day articles.
Great work Dave. Keep it up 👌🏾👌🏾👍🏾👍🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
You're welcome Davyn, and thanks for the great pictures!
Looks like someone was messing around with its front end.. Headlamps trim, the hood (bonnet), tailpipes, and the fog lamps were changed. Wheels don't belong to that model either even though they are honeycomb Pontiac type. Exterior colour is also not original - the Judge never came in that colour.
Having said all this, it's still a very nice car.
Any ideas on specs or any info you could provide about this particular car? Wats ur opinions?
Sorry, no specs or any inside info. I do, however, recall lots of them being driven around in early 1970's. . The real hotrod when it came to Pontiacs, imo, was the 1972 Trans-Am. High school auto mechanics class teacher gave me and a friend a...
