Spotted this rad Spider Quadrifoglio Verde in the paddock

What is it about Alfa's catching our eye?

1y ago

This Series 3 Alfa Spider QV was parked behind the pits, but I took as many pics of it as I did the vintage race cars around it, because I'm a huge nerd. It looked in original but well loved condition. The red paint still had a brilliant shine and the hard rubber bumpers and spoiler weren't dried out or cracked. The 'injection' badge on the back gave away that this is an American market model and the hardtop was a big option back in the day. Alfa Romeo produced the Series 3 Quadrifoglio Verde from 1986 to 1989, so I suspect they are rarer than I think they are.

  • Alfa does a fantastic job at building something unique. They remain independent, when it comes to originality and styling.
