SSC, the well-known American performance car company, aims to take all of the records away from all of the big names in the motoring world, starting with Koenigsegg and the land speed record. In hopes to shatter the record of going above 300mph on a straight and long road, this de-tuned twin-turbo V8 car that weighs just over 3,100 pounds with all of its fluids. Below is the unveiling video (please excuse the moving around) and photos after. What do you think?

Wait what? SSC isn't new; they've been around for 20 years. The SSC Ultimate Aero was the fastest production car in the world for a time.
Maybe they rebranded themselves. But that's what they said at the show.
