Stefano Coletti will drive the Romeo Ferraris Giulia ETCR
The Monegasque driver will replace the Frenchman Jean-Karl Vernay
Since last year, Romeo Ferraris has been designing an electric version of the Alfa Romeo Giulia to be used in the ETCR championship. It was originally to be driven by Frenchman Jean-Karl Vernay, but after his transition to the Hyundai team, a substitute had to be found.
Finally, the Monegasque driver Stefano Coletti, former Formula 2 and ELMS racer, was hired. He will be the one to lead the Giulia in the tests that will be held this weekend in Vallelunga, a few months before the start of the championship.
Five races are currently scheduled, the first of which will take place on the Roman circuit in June. The Italian team will have as competitors the Cupra e-Racer, the Hyundai Veloster N ETCR and the MG 6 of Shanghai Lisheng Racing.
