I know right! It's strange how women can distinguish so well between slight variation in color schemes. It's because men's and women's eyes are set up differently. Cones are what allow us to see color. Rods allow us to see shapes. Women, in general, have more cones than men. Men have more rods.
Now, for the story of yellow Ferrari : “I always liked yellow, it was also Luigi’s helmet color (Mussi, former boyfriend). One day I’m having being made a yellow dress with a lovely jacket and I think “Damn, this yellow would fit perfectly on a Ferrari”. So I go straight to Boano, asking him to prepare a paint of the same yellow. He tried but fails to deliver the paint in 15 days. Then Scaglietti takes the challenge and in eight days the color is ready. The first one was a Ferrari 275 GTB but the yellow wasn’t quite what I wanted, in fact in Ginevra nobody liked it. I revised the work and then another one, this time with the right yellow I had in mind, goes to Paris. The rest is history.”
