Summernats - Terms and Conditions

These terms in addition to the rules emailed on 4th January 2018 (“Rules”) are the terms and conditions that apply to anyone taking part in the Summernats. By taking part you accept these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.  Any failure to abide by any of the terms and conditions and the Rules will disqualify you from taking part and your entry will be deemed invalid.

The promoter is DRIVETRIBE Limited, and our address is 6th Floor, 1 Fore Street, London EC2Y 9DT (“us”, “we”).

Entry restriction:

You may not enter this competition where the competition does not comply with your local law, and the competition is therefore void where prohibited by law.

There is no cost to enter the competition, it is free to enter.

The Prize:

We shall at our sole discretion confirm which of the prizes set out in the Rules a winner may claim. No alternative prize is offered. Prizes are not transferable and must be accepted and claimed without substitution by you. We reserve the right to substitute a prize if we are unable to fulfil it.

All our decisions are final. No private correspondence will be entered into with any entrant except with a potential winning entrant.

Consent release:

Where a prize requires you to be filmed or to contribute to an article or other work, or have your photo taken, you agree that, and as a condition of claiming the prize, you will consent to us in writing to be able to film and photograph your contribution and that you shall grant us in writing all necessary rights and permission to fully exploit your contribution in any and all media without payment to you. Where you take part in any filming or event as part of the prize, then you agree that you shall provide all reasonably necessary consents and waivers to us to enable you to take part. All copyright in any works created as part of the prize must be owned by us.

Selection of Winners:

Winners will be selected as set out in the Rules. However if the Winner is disqualified, or fail to comply with the Rules or terms and conditions, or is ineligible for the prize then they will automatically forfeit the prize.

In the event that the prize is forfeited, then we may choose another entrant until an entrant is chosen who is able to claim the prize in accordance with the Rules and terms and conditions.

How and when winners will be notified of results:

Winners will be chosen as set out in the Rules. We will notify winners by message. To claim a prize, you must provide us with a postal address, photographic proof of identity, contact details 24 hours after being sent a notification message that they are a winner. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the prize. We are not responsible or liable for any failure for an entrant to contact us within the prescribed period to confirm their identity. We will manage any personal data you send us as part of the winner verification process strictly as necessary to confirm that you are a winner of the competition and your compliance with the Rules and terms and conditions. We may process your personal data outside of the European Economic Area.

Delaying, cancelling or amending the Competition:

We reserve the right to withdraw, delay, terminate or amend the Competition (including any part of the Rules and terms and conditions) at any time without prior notice if any factor interferes or prevents the proper fulfilment of the Competition as contemplated by the Rules and terms and conditions.

We reserve the right to amend any prize (to an alternative of equal or greater value) in the event that we believe the Competition is affected or is likely to be affected by any unforeseen circumstances. We shall not be in breach of these terms and conditions, nor liable for delay in performing, or failure to perform, any of our obligations under these terms and conditions, if such delay or failure result from events, circumstances or causes beyond our reasonable control.

We do not assume any responsibility for any incorrect or inaccurate data capture, or other technical malfunction or human error relating to the results of the leaderboard.
