The Enzo Ferrari vs The McLaren P1

The Ferrari: The 2002 supercar was built with Formula 1 inspiration with advanced aerodynamics reaching 775kg at 300km/h showing how technically superb this car is for a car made in 2002. Just 399 were built with all them being sold as expected. The Formula 1 inspiration means that the front of the car resembles a Formula 1 nose cone and the cabin is strictly functional and performance-oriented. The car has a V12 engine and mainly carbon-fibre body and brake system and many more performance aiding technology that was adapted through vigorous testing in wind tunnels, on the track and the road. The car was the first of its kind as it was the first to implement Formula 1 technology on the road therefore it will always have a special place in the history of cars.

The P1: Also a Formula 1 inspired supercar the McLaren P1 is as if not more lean and mean than the Enzo. One of the main focuses of the designer was to make the car as skinny and aerodynamic as possible and this is seen in the fierce beauty of the car often being compared to an airplane because of the cockpit that exists for the drivers use. The P1 is obviously much younger and more evolved technologically than the Enzo, but they remain very similar in their Formula 1 aspects and focus on aerodynamics and pure performance so I cannot suggest which one is better. The P1 might be an obvious choice because it is more advanced and newer. However, the Enzo is a classic that is the first of its kind and will forever remain a beautiful car.
