Super rare Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport crashes into a Toyota Corolla of all cars
Bugatti made just 60 examples of the Chiron Pur Sport, so when someone crashes one it is bad news for the owner, but arguably good news for existing Pur Sport owners.
Often these exotic cars are written off through track driving or other cars hitting them, but in this case, this Chiron hit a Toyota Corolla, making for a very sad sight indeed.
This wasn't actually a customer car as it was a demo from Bugatti themselves according to @krn_speed on Instagram, but that doesn't make this any less sad. This particular car was being driven across the US for media events and test drives for prospective customers, but didn't make it all that far.
Details about the accident itself are scarce, but there are some photos and videos circling around which show it happened in St.Louis, Missouri on either April 1 or April 2. Some sources are saying the crash was caused by a potential customer who couldn't handle the car's power and went into the back of the Corolla, but that is not confirmed.
Thankfully nobody was injured in this accident, but the Corolla took most of the damage. The damage to the Chiron itself isn't too extensive, but is probably still a $200,000 fix 'cause Bugatti.
